The NC Animal Emergency Response Working Group has developed an awareness course to introduce skills and resources for responders that may be involved in animal incidents. Have you ever thought of what you would do when you respond to an incident that involves a horse trailer, animal stuck in a pond, loose livestock obstructing traffic, or a barn fire? Would you be called to assist? If the answer is possibly then this training is for you. Some groups that would benefit fire/rescue departments, law enforcement, animal control/animal services, veterinarians, emergency management, technical animal response organizations, animal associations, trained wrecker services personnel with equipment, state agencies such as NCDA&CS and NC Wildlife Services.
