Currituck County, May 2025. Wild mare with a foal found with a ladder around her neck. Due to nature of the horse, rescuers were unable to contain but she eventually self-freed.
Currituck County, May 2025. Newborn foal found in canal was successfully rescued by several workers, deputies, and firefighters and reunited with mom.
Northampton County, May 2025. Fire crews assisted in cooling and calming bees when pollinator truck with 130 pallets of hives had a flat tire on I-95.
Buncombe County, June 2024. Bull fell out of trailer during transport on Highway 40 that resulted in Highway being shut down until bull was caught and relocated.

Mecklenburg County, July 2023. Three Chinese water buffalo escaped from owner in Charlotte resulting in one being euthanized and the other 2 caught and relocated.
