Course includes basic safe handling of large animals in need of rescue assistance. Topics covered include: animal behavior, approach, restraint, haltering and leading, emergency halter rigging, basic vital signs, cast horse assistance and basic rigging evolutions for lifting an equine or large animal. Course includes demonstrations and hands-on applications for the participant.
