Animals are at risk of becoming contaminated during any major event or incident involving environmental or human contamination. Contaminants can include biological agents, chemicals and radioactive materials. This course includes best practices for identifying the contaminant, taking protective actions for the emergency worker and the animal, and decontamination of the animal.
