PE ART Technical Rescue Awareness & Considerations for Animal Response

This training includes classroom instruction of awareness-level topics for technical animal response operations. Technical rescue topics and considerations include, but are not limited to: situational awareness, best practices, resources and protective actions. Real scenarios involving animals will be reviewed and discussed. This course also meets the NFPA 1670 requirements for technical rescue awareness regarding animals.
Prerequisite: ICS—100 (Introduction to the Incident Command System), which can be taken online at https://training.fema.gov/is/courseoverview.aspx?code=is-100.c&lang=en
